Billions of Rands have been made available to support SMEs but many small businesses still face challenges. Sandiswa Gwele, UCT GSB alumna and Founder of L&S Shuttle Service, has been running her transport company since 2017. The clients include corporates, tertiary institutions and non-profit organisations. With the lockdown restrictions, she faces challenges in doing business despite being registered as an essential business. Dr Tim London chats to Sandiswa on the impact COVID-19 has had on her business and the challenges she faces in getting government funding.
